Administrative Assistant Peachtree Corners GA
Our client, a top civil engineering firm in the Peachtree Corners area is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their growing company. This Administrative Assistant is the main point of contact for greeting visitors, answering the phones in a professional, friendly manner, and will provide support to the administrative team as needed.
This role is in the office Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. After 90 days on the job, there will be an opportunity to work one day a week from home.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Answer company phone line and directing calls; main point of contact when clients or vendors come into the office
- Maintain and keep up with ordering supplies needed for the office, according to company policy
- Maintain the conference room calendar, and keep conference room organized
- Maintain and file all project correspondence, electronically and paper
- Update Planning Department Schedule Sheet and attend Monday meetings
- Handle courier requests
- Assist with and preparing proposals as requested by the Office Manager
- Tidy and maintain main lobby, kitchen, and supply are
- Assist and organize lunch and learns, and other company meetings
- Other duties as requested
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma and 5+ years previous experience in a similar environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Highly organized; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation: Salary 45-50k depending on relevant experience, healthcare, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, and yearly opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus.
