Controller – Hybrid Roswell GA
Our client, a small cutting edge medical device manufacturer located in the Roswell/Alpharetta area, is looking for a hands-on Controller to join their team. If you have previous experience as a Controller for a small medical device or other sophisticated manufacturing firm, this is a great opportunity to be intricately involved with the accounting and HR for an international small business.
This hybrid position can eventually be worked two days per week from your home office after you’ve acclimated to their business and team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform and provide oversight of all daily accounting functions
- Manage accounting and financial reporting of the company and its subsidiaries
- Manage the global month-end close process
- Provide senior management with ad hoc financial analyses for better decision making
- Manage the coordination of the annual budget and forecast process
- Generate monthly financial results and analyze performance versus budget/forecast/prior year
- Establish new product Profit/Loss statements
- Manage external auditor and accounting relationships
- Coordinate and analyze Manufacturing and Marketing assumptions
- Evaluate viability of account-level pricing requests
- Perform cost/benefit analysis for ad hoc projects
- Assist with financial modeling for strategic plans and mergers/acquisitions
- Provide oversight to the HR function
- Oversee and perform payroll through ADP
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7-10 years combined experience as a Controller and Accounting Manager, supporting business units on a global scale (international currency experience)
- Previous accounting experience in a medical device or other sophisticated manufacturing company with strong experience with COGS and cost accounting responsibilities
- High-level financial modeling and Excel skills
- Previous experience with ERP systems; prior experience with NetSuite a huge plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Able to effectively communicate financial concepts and information to non-finance management team members
