Consulting opportunity available for HR professional who likes to work on a variety of projects both strategic and hands-on. Hours will vary per month.
Typical Job Responsibilities
- Help clients strategically integrate effective HR processes, programs and practices into their daily operations
- Perform internal reviews and audit of current systems and policies
- Ensure business practices are in accordance with human resource policies and labor laws
- Provide consultation and guidance to senior management and organizational partners in the interpretation of human resource management policies, procedures, programs and application of related government laws and regulations
- Participate in resolution of daily employee relations issues
- Lead HR-related projects in areas such as benefits, compensation, Covid 19 strategies, diversity, performance management, remote work, safety & wellbeing
- Conduct data collection, surveys, and other research methods in order to detect HR problems or identify causes
- Participate in the design, development and implementation of innovative workforce engagement & retention programs
Typical Job Requirements
- Proven 5+ years experience as an HR Generalist or in higher level roles
- A solid grasp of human resources methods, practices, principles, and functions
- Familiarity with HR technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or any related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with others
- Certifications such as a PHR or SPHR are a plus
- Strategic thinking in order to successfully outline business plans
- Solid problem-solving skills in order to easily detect problematic situations and come up with results-driven solutions
- Ability to explain complicated things in a simplified manner
- Consulting experience a plus!
