Construction Contracts Administrator – Onsite Suwanee GA

Our client, Southern Wall Systems, a full-service Facade Specialty Contractor located in Suwanee, GA, is looking for a Construction Contracts Administrator to join their wonderful team.This is a newly created role reporting to the Controller, due to their growing business.

This position is fully in-office 5 days a week, 7am-5pm office hours. 

The company pays 95% of the employees’ health premiums and also provides a 401k match.

Responsibilities: 

  • Initial Review of all incoming project contracts to determine issues with legal terms, requirements, insurance, subcontractors, & contract forms
  • Update and maintain Contract Tracking Report
  • Project set-up and contract creation using AIA contract website
  • Initiation and follow-up of contract review process involving Estimating Department and Executive
  • Submission of questions, concerns, & contract revisions to customer for negotiation
  • Submission of contract & bond request form to Bonding Agent for review and approval on bonded projects
  • Completion/Update of customer Pre-Qualification requirements
  • Monitor and renew company business licenses, general contractor licenses, and state requirements
  • Tracking and processing of project CCIP/OCIP Insurance requirements
  • Request and submit project Certificates of Insurance from agent
  • Maintain Subcontractor Insurance and required certificates
  • Assist other departments with requests for information and research

Candidate Requirements:

  • 5+ years relevant commercial construction industry experience required
  • Accounting Experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or related construction industry experience
  • Working knowledge of AIA contract preparation experience preferred
  • Proficient Computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
  • Detail oriented, demonstration accuracy and thoroughness
  • Ability to work closely and maintain strong communication with employees at all levels, customers, suppliers, and contractors

Compensation: 65-70K (based on experience) and competitive benefits including 401K, Health, Life, Vision, Dental, and STD & LTD insurance
