Controller Norcross GA

We are excited to partner with our client, Parsons Roofing, a commercial roofing company headquartered in Norcross, to help them find their first Controller for their growing business. This individual will lead their accounting and HR teams, create additional SOPs, and assist leadership in executing their revenue goals and expansion strategies. This role will be performed totally onsite at their Norcross office.

  1. Financial Management & Reporting (40%)
  • Manage and forecast cash flows, oversee accounting procedures and budgets
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Identify financial issues and areas for improvement; implement corrective measures
  1. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight (20%)
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and legal codes
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
  1. Accounting Leadership and Team Management (20%)
  • Lead and manage the finance department including the Accounting Manager and Administrative Assistant
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  1. HR Management (10%)
  • Oversee employee onboarding, employee performance management, and employee relations
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals
  1. Administrative Oversight (10%)
  • Oversee administrative operations to ensure efficient and consistent processes
  • Ensure compliance with payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices


  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Accounting 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at the Controller level
  • Background in small to mid-size privately held companies in the construction, commercial services, or manufacturing industries (experience with $20-75M in revenue preferred)
  • Previous experience in growth-oriented companies and hands-on roles
  • Previous team management experience
  • Strong systems experience and Excel skills
  • Comfortable serving on a leadership team and bringing value to the conversations

Compensation: $135,000-145,000 per year depending on match to candidate requirements,  plus health, dental, and vision insurance; Simple IRA with company match; and PTO
